AIKO has signed a contract for the development of Artificial Intelligence for monitoring the performances of engines in launcher vehicles.

18 partners, 8 different countries, 1 goal: speed up the development of reusable, eco-friendly European launcher.
AIKO will be part of the team led by ArianeGroup for the ENLIGHTEN project and will work on the FDIR (Failure Detection Isolation and Recovery) software for reusable engine technologies and that's a game-changer, that demonstrates potential AI applicability in a domain currently considered out of limit for AI applications: launchers and launch operations.
This ambitious project, together with SALTO, has been selected by the European Commission as a part of its HorizonEurope program and we are proud to be a part of the transition to Europe's access to space as sustainable and competitive!
